Everyone knows Samantha Joansen. Everyone's seen her powers blossom. And now you've met Rosamund Higgins, her cousin, right? One with the ability to negate the augmentations of those around her. One with the power to copy the augmentations of another.

So what happens when they're together? Just before the New Year rings in and they're being attacked by a Juniper Corporation agent?

Here's the story:

What would you do if an Umbrakinetic was trying to blind you? You would try to find a way to stop it right? Well that’s exactly what Rosie did. Or tried to, at least. She panicked. Her Power Mimicry picked up Sam’s Amplification and it blacked out the entire room.

Sam to the rescue. She Negated the Umbrakinesis, and then some.

The Power Negation was amplified by Rosamund. Sam’s Negation has been activated on a grand scaled. The entire town is powerless.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

For the month of January, all augmented youths are completely powerless.

And worse? Whenever you try to use your power, agony will set in. A twisting pain in your stomach. A throbbing ache at the temples.
