Michael started through his first augmentation, an act Maria witnessed with her bare eyes. Maria had no idea she had befriended an infected. A virus meant diseases, and diseased meant terminally ill.

Her friend needed help, but he wanted none of that. While fighting with her friend suggesting he seek help, a gang of other infected people attacked Maria, mistaking her for an ‘agent’. Who knew this would lead to Maria being offered a job at Juniper Corp. Now on opposite sides, will their relationship make a beeline for the worst?
